Our integrated design hub proved their worth with Greenwich Peninsula’s Upper Riverside development, saving around £1 million. How? Through a significant redesign of the initial structural scheme, transforming RC slabs into PT and large diameter “wet” piles founded in the Thanet Sands into shorter and smaller diameter CFA piles. The insitu RC concrete cores were redesigned as hybrid twin wall cores.

Other benefits of our value-engineered work and early contractor engagement included reducing the floor cycle time and crane time on site while maintaining a high-quality end product for the client.
