Forming part of the £1.5 billion regeneration of Elephant and Castle, the third masterplan phase MP3 provides 829 homes out of the total of 3000 homes. This regeneration houses London’s largest new green space in 70 years. On the green theme, it also aims to be climate positive or carbon negative by 2025, thanks to green walls and roofs and a net zero carbon energy centre.

We designed 200mm deep PT slabs to maximise floor-to-ceiling heights with 250mm deep PT transfer slabs to transfer roof columns at step-back levels. We also designed over 700 precast columns with the first widescale innovative use of slimline grouted half sleeve couplers in the column connections on a UK project.
